Sarrah Moon is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Functional Medicine practitioner with offices in downtown San Francisco and Danville, California. She graduated at the top of her class from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco while interning at multiple practices: California Pacific Medical Center treating stroke and neurological trauma patients; SC Sports Therapy an orthopedic, chiropractic and physiotherapy clinic under Dr Steven Adams; Origins Medicine learning how to integrate functional medicine with acupuncture and herbs under Duncan MacDonald LAc; and Oakland Community Acupuncture as sports medicine acupuncture assistant to Chris Randle LAc, team acupuncturist to the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors and teacher at Highland Hospital.
Sarrah currently specializes in Orthopedic Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Musculoskeletal Electro-Acupuncture, Holistic MicroNeedling + NanoNeedling, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Pain Management, and Functional Medicine. She has advanced training and certification in orthopedic electro-acupuncture from the medical acupuncture programs of Dr Anthony Lombardi and practices the highly effective EXSTORE system for physical assessment. Much of her post-graduate training is also thanks to the osteopathic + acupuncture teaching by Dr Joshua Margolis. She is also trained in Dry Needling by Myopain Seminars, a leading myofascial pain management institute.
Sarrah is also a TOMA Certified Provider of Holistic MicroNeedling + NanoNeedling + AcuGlow™ Facial Gua Sha & Cupping. She has completed the Advanced Certification in Facial and Cosmetic Acupuncture by Michelle Gellis AP LAc emphasizing both emotional wellbeing and facial acupuncture, facial cupping, gua sha, and microneedling.
Sarrah loves to learn and grow and is also a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner having completed the advanced mentorship at the Kalish Institute for Functional Medicine. She utilizes data-informed lab-based Functional Medicine to find the root causes of internal health stressors to manage fatigue, anxiety and stress, digestion and gut microbiome issues, sleep disorders, and to improve physical and emotional wellness.
For fun, Sarrah is certified in Mat Pilates and is a competitive ballroom dancer. She brings the teachings from these movement disciplines to her patients and health coaching to help people breathe, move, meditate, sleep and live with more ease.
